Rudolf Schemmann

The family business Schemmann was founded in 1927 in Bad Salzuflen by Rudolf Schemmann. The store with its own hollow grinding shop has been located in the city center ever since. In 1993, the third-generation cutler Matthias Herlitzius took over the business and expanded it in 2000 to include online trading. Since 2008 and 2017, his daughters, Marie Brandes, a business economist, and Sophie Herlitzius, an e-commerce merchant, have strengthened the company.

The main focus of our activities is consulting, sale and care of high quality cutlery such as knives and scissors and online trade.
