One of the most elaborate blades we have ever created. Dozens of hours of meticulous work went into creating this work of art. Each fire welding is an expression of the highest precision and contains the experience of decades. No less than 21 fire welds were necessary to create this pattern of 28,718 layers.
The upper section of the blade consists of 5 different mosaic damascus steels, 4 horizontal damascus steels and 2 explosive damascus steels. The lower section of the blade consists of two-lane twisted explosive damascus combined with two mosaic damascus steels. The best tool steels with a high proportion of carbon and tungsten were used for maximum sharpness and durability.
Steels used: 1.2510, 1.2419.05, 75Ni8, nickel and 1.2767.
The complexity of the pattern is created solely by forging techniques that are over 2,500 years old. Each light and dark line was previously a 2-5 mm thick piece of steel.
Only decades of experience, spatial imagination and unbridled creativity can create a product that transcends the boundary between tool and work of art.
