All Nesmuk dining boards are made with the utmost care from the heartwood of German oak - the heartwood is the oldest and most valuable part of a trunk. The individual slats are selected by hand and joined together to form the characteristic pattern. The fine surface sanding and the final treatment with natural linseed oil and beeswax give the silky sheen.
