L.A. Jordan

Daniel Schimkowitsch

Since Daniel Schimkowitsch started working at the L.A. Jordan restaurant in 2014, his creative culinary workshop has been THE figurehead in the region for new, dynamic, young gourmet cuisine.

Awards such as 4 red Gault & Millau toques and
9.5 pans from Gusto have long adorned the restaurant's door.

But that's not all: in spring 2023, the charismatic Munich-based chef has secured his second Michelin star star.

Vita in a nutshell and to the point

  • 2011: at just 26 years old, first Michelin star at the Tramin restaurant in Munich
  • 2014: Move to Deidesheim to open L.A. Jordan and renewed award of a Michelin star, which he has successfully defended ever since

Our L.A. Jordan** is the right place for anyone who values a friendly, relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant as much as exceptional gourmet cuisine. A seat in our classic restaurant or in the winter garden with its colorful designer wall lets you arrive and sit back and relax.
There are no stiff conventions and outdated rituals here, we are rather unagitated and concentrate on unquestionable quality - in the kitchen and service.
While Executive Chef Daniel Schimkowitsch pampers you with fish, shellfish and meat of the highest quality, you can feel as if you are the guest of friends.
