Erik Arnecke worked in great restaurants before becoming Chef de Cuisine in Frankenberg. He spent a total of seven years at the Ritz-Carlton in Wolfsburg, including from 2010 to 2012 under Sven Elverfeld (3rd place in Germany). From 2007 to 2010, he was Chef de Partie at the Hotel & Restaurant Résidence in Essen for three years. He became head chef there in 2012 and was able to confirm the hotel's two Michelin stars. Since 2015, he has been the sole chef at the gourmet restaurant Philipp Soldan at Hotel Die Sonne Frankenberg.
