Heiko Nieder

Heiko Nieder has held the position of Chef Fine Dining since the restaurant opened. He has received numerous awards for his aromatically diverse dishes. In 2010, he was awarded his second Michelin star, and in October 2012, he earned his 18th point in Gault-Millau. In addition, he was named "Rising Star of the Year." In July 2013, the Swiss business magazine "Bilanz" named him "Hotel Chef of the Year" as part of its hotel ranking. In November 2014, he received the award as "Best German Chef Abroad" from Gault Millau Germany. In 2018, Heiko Nieder initiated the annual gourmet festival THE EPICURE at the Dolder Grand, which takes place in autumn. In the same year, he was selected by Gault Millau as "Chef of the Year 2019" and received his 19th Gault Millau point.

In collaboration with Matthaes-Verlag, Heiko Nieder has published his first cookbook. The 384-page book "Heiko Nieder - The Restaurant" is aimed at gourmets and lovers of culinary delights who want to be inspired by refined recipes and high-quality images.
