Sarah Henke

"For me, the best thing about cooking is that you can always combine new dishes and flavors."

Sarah Henke brings the diversity of Asian flavors to the plate in sophisticated and pointedly presented creations. Sarah earned her first star in the Michelin Guide in 2013. In 2015, she took over as head chef at the newly opened YOSO restaurant, where she was awarded a Michelin star in 2018 and retained it until she left the company in 2022.

Her husband Christian Eckhardt accompanied the opening of the PURS restaurant as head chef in 2017. He was awarded two Michelin stars in his first year there. After his training, he gained experience at Restaurant Bareiss in Baiersbronn, Restaurant Aqua in Wolfsburg and Schloss Schauenstein in Switzerland - all of which were awarded three stars in the Michelin Guide. To date, Christian can look back on many successful years as a chef and is one of the 30 best chefs in Germany.

Lemabri

"Creating a restaurant where we enjoy eating ourselves" - that is Sarah and Christian's motivation for opening their first restaurant. After years of working and gaining experience in Michelin-starred gastronomy, the couple are breaking new ground with Lemabri.

The Lemabri's food concept will incorporate influences from all over the world, paired with an unmistakable sophistication in texture and acidity. Sarah brings her expertise from Asian cuisine, which is characterized by spiciness, while Christian contributes his Francophile creations to the overall concept.

At Lemabri, the focus is not only on the culinary offer but also on the ambience. The aim is to create a place of enjoyment for the whole family. Whether for a quick lunch, a relaxed dinner or a family celebration in small or large groups - the restaurant in Boppard-Buchholz in Rhineland-Palatinate is intended to be a place to feel good and enjoy.

"With the new concept, we can now develop freely and cook without pressure. Less mental stress and more heartfelt cuisine are now our top priority."
